I am Bhakti & I put my work under the name Bathsheva, which is also my Hebrew name that I get from my mother's side of the family. I consider myself very fortunate to have been brought up in a culturally multi layered family.
A law graduate as my degree certificate says but, decided to take up photography as a career when I was in my final year of law. And oh, am I fortunate to have found this beautiful tool of expression or what !
To tell you a bit more about me, well, I absolutely love to drive cars, I enjoy learning new languages, I play chess to relax myself, I paint to detangle my thoughts and I love to cook and even more to eat :D
Coming back to photography, I call myself a people photographer. I have made photographs across India, Israel & Canada. In the past decade of pursuing my passion as a profession, never have I looked back and regretted this decision I took at the age of 22. All these years of being a friend to the beautiful families as their wedding photographer and photographing various amazing people as their portrait photographer, has been nothing but an absolute joy ride. I am extremely grateful for having discovered my love for the art and being able to pursue it ever since.
To me, people have been the most interesting subjects to photograph. There are so many shades and layers to each one of us. It's amazing to unfold many beautiful sides of the people I photograph and I strive to get my pictures to speak about them :)
Weddings are one of those events that has all sorts of emotions in one plate. We are a team of artists who put their hearts into capturing every emotion you experience on your special day. We say this with immense gratitude that it’s the faith of the couple and families that reflects in our work and brings out the best and unique of each wedding. We have been able to bring smiles on their faces and receive a lot of admiration from them :)
