I’m Bhakti — or Bathsheva, as I’m lovingly known through my work. I grew up in a culturally rich, multi-layered family — something I carry with me into every photo I take. Though I hold a degree in law, I chose to follow my heart into photography during my final year of college, and I haven’t looked back since. What began as a passion has become a decade-long joy ride — a career built on stories, emotions, and deep human connections. I call myself a people photographer. I’ve had the honour of capturing lives and moments across India, Israel, and Canada — through weddings, portraits, and everything in between. People have always fascinated me. We’re all layers and shades, and through my lens, I strive to reveal the beauty in those layers. Beyond the camera, I’m someone who loves driving, playing chess to unwind, painting to sort my thoughts, picking up new languages, and of course — cooking (and eating!) with joy.
